Harsikans are large lizard-like people with scales, claws, sharp teeth, tails, exceptional strength, efficient lungs, and lithotrophic evolutionary adaptations. Chlo Stellarrend is the principal known Harsikan.
¶ Physiology
Harsikans evolved in thin-air subterranean environments. Their lungs extract oxygen efficiently, extending survival during atmospheric loss. Their ancestors obtained nutrients from basalt, feldspar, compressed sediment, and nitrogen trapped in rock.
Chlo can taste atmospheric nitrogen changes and carry twice her body weight. Her scales may flatten for safe affection or emotional response.

Known Harsikans display major engineering skill, but the current record should not make Chlo's expertise a universal biological trait.

Homeworld, lifespan, reproduction, language, and broader social structures remain incomplete. Whether lithotrophic nutrition remains common is also unknown.
