Krampus is a surviving Christmas folklore figure associated with punishment. Young Jack Kaiden fears that Krampus is outside his clubhouse during a storm.
The name later becomes the nickname of Frosnik Volzen. Other raiders call him “Krampus” because of his reputation for relentlessness and cruelty, reinforced by his goatlike alien features. The folklore figure and Frosnik remain distinct subjects.
