Before leaving the system, early travelers pass Io Station, described as the final major stop before the emptiness beyond Sol. Conventional speed limits govern local travel, while ghost drives are generally engaged at the system's outer reaches.
In Apotheosis, Sol jurisdiction becomes important to the legal and political investigation of Yvonne Kaiden. Public events involving the Kaiden family are broadcast across the system.
