West Valley City is a city in Utah on Earth. Apex Tower stands within the city.
Shortly before the first Dominatrix voyage, Jack Kaiden and Talonor Kaiden live on the forty-second floor of Apex Tower. Their apartment is the principal setting of Solace, where Talonor helps Jack through a traumatic Christmas Eve.
The canon identifies the city and its relationship to the tower but otherwise provides little detail about its future geography or government.
