The Progenitor Vault preserves the biological and cultural inheritance of the Artogs after the destruction of their homeworld. Its contents include seeds, genetic material, cultural archives, recipes, language records, and more than two thousand cryopreserved embryos.
The vault supplies Art Vorluun with specimens for ecological restoration and enough viable embryos to preserve broad genetic diversity. The first children are raised collectively while Alixian, Lupeian, and other caregivers reconstruct a culture none of them inherited through uninterrupted daily life.
The vault preserves evidence and possibility; it does not automatically recreate the lost society without interpretation, care, and change.
