Love without absolution describes relationships that remain emotionally real even when one person has caused serious harm.

Jack Kaiden can love parents, partners, and found family while confronting secrecy, coercion, or betrayal. Andryanos's love for Pailisto Stellarrend does not make Pailisto's manipulation harmless. Chlo's love for Yvonne does not supply the informed consent missing from Yvonne's reconstruction.
¶ Accountability
Forgiveness, when offered, creates the possibility of a future; it does not rewrite what happened. Apology and reparative conduct matter because the injury remains real. The concept also permits love to survive without requiring reconciliation when safety or autonomy demands distance.
