Cody Sean Strokes is an aide and operational lieutenant to Kjersten Borsach during her campaign against John Kaiden for Earth's presidency.
¶ Election-Rigging Attempt
When Kjersten panics over polling, she orders Cody to find a way to hack voting consoles. Cody attempts to manipulate the ballots but misunderstands the method: filling in the voting bubbles assigns the altered votes to Kaiden. Precincts begin reporting impossible totals of one hundred percent for John.
Cody then explains the scheme during a live broadcast, openly admitting that Kjersten asked him to rig the election before realizing that he changed votes in the wrong direction. The confession turns the failed fraud into a public scandal and leads to the arrest of both Cody and Kjersten. A new election is required to restore legitimacy.
