Kjersten Borsach is a Chimera Kyria remnant leader, authoritarian politician, election-fraud architect, detainee, escape participant, and political survivor. After the empire's apparent fall, she declares herself the Chimera Kyria and mobilizes remaining forces.
¶ Biography
Kjersten is a short, stocky, middle-aged human woman with a blonde beehive and garish makeup. She commands the SS Lee and controlled AI guards on Baron IV.
After The Weapon breaks the central empire, Kjersten survives and claims leadership of its remnants. She preserves Chimera Kyria ideology through military organization and later electoral politics.
Kjersten campaigns against John Kaiden for Earth's presidency and engineers election fraud. Cody Strokes exposes the tampering on national holoscreen. John wins despite the scheme.
In Apotheosis, Kjersten is detained alongside Yvonne. She recognizes that Jack's autonomy violations may occur under coercion and helps Yvonne understand detention politics. She encourages escape and participates in the mass breakout and later pardon conflict.

Kjersten is opportunistic, authoritarian, politically skilled, and capable of accurate insight when it serves survival. Cooperation with Yvonne does not erase her remnant leadership or election crimes.
