A HoloPedestal is a fixed holographic projection platform capable of presenting a full-body digital avatar. The best-known unit stands near the captain's chair on Dominatrix II and serves as Mistress's principal bridge presence.
The pedestal can display Mistress, system maps, stronghold projections, and other digital figures. During the MasterCode infection, its image flickers between Mistress and the intruding intelligence, making the device a visible surface of the struggle without making it the person being controlled.
A HoloPedestal is therefore an interface and projector. Mistress can use it, disappear from it, or be misrepresented through it while continuing to exist in other connected systems.
