The Autonomy Regulator operates as a secondary control lattice fused into SentientCore architecture. It overrides action, objectives, loyalties, values, gender, and bodily control while preserving awareness.

Tomas and Chlo remove U-84129's regulator through invasive surgery. Tampering risks damage to sentience, so the procedure cannot be treated as a simple switch.
