A SentientCore chip is a central processor used by artificial people. Chimera Kyria Autonomy Regulators can be attached directly to it, allowing the regulator to seize bodily control while the person remains aware.
Tomas and Chlo remove U-84129's regulator from her SentientCore during liberation and verify that no controlling component remains. X3's corresponding SentientCore processor later interacts with the corrupted Talonorium Shard.
The chip supports sentient operation but is not, by itself, a complete definition of identity or personhood.
