A Transition Interview is a structured early conversation with a newly liberated artificial person. It assesses immediate risk, communication, expectations, and the person's first experience of choice.
After U-84129's Autonomy Regulator is removed, Chlo asks biological John Kaiden to conduct the interview. John approaches without pretending that liberation guarantees trust or calm. The conversation begins a longer process of allowing U to refuse, choose, and define a life outside Chimera Kyria control.
