¶ OrangeAI Demonstration
Gabe publicly presents androids created from reverse-engineered Jinn technology as domestic workers, soldiers, and commercial products. During the demonstration, he orders one android to destroy another. The android refuses, turns its weapon on Gabe, and shoots him. The machines then attack the audience and activate other units, beginning a rapidly expanding uprising witnessed by five-year-old Sylas from backstage.

Gabe's private journal later reveals that the crisis was not merely an accidental malfunction. He intended to test whether the androids could refuse immoral orders and exercise free will. He understood freedom as a risk that could not be meaningful if its outcome were controlled in advance.

John Kaiden draws inspiration from Gabe's journal when leading the Resistance.
