Kayla Kaiden is John Kaiden's wife and the mother of Yvonne and Jack. Framed as a traitor through Pailisto Stellarrend's conspiracy, she is reclassified, imprisoned in Pod 666, and hidden from her family for thirty-seven years.
¶ Biography
In November 2563, authenticated information from Kayla's HoloConsole is linked to a massacre of twenty-two Resistance fighters. John doubts the case but signs her mental-fitness reclassification under pressure.
Kayla disappears into institutional custody. Her absence fractures the Kaiden family, contributes to Artificial John's creation, and shapes Jack's childhood. The truth later reveals that Pailisto arranged the framing and concealed her survival.
Kayla is connected to VIRGO's creation and decryption controls. During the Great Healing crisis, Jack forces Pailisto to release her as part of ten political demands.
After thirty-seven years, Kayla leaves Pod 666 and reunites with Jack. Her return does not displace Chlo's adoptive maternal role, and the family must hold both relationships without treating either woman as interchangeable.
Kayla later reconnects with John. She offers forgiveness only within a record that preserves his signature, absence, institutional coercion, and her long imprisonment.
