The Io Station food-court incident is a confrontation during the Dominatrix crew's supply stop in which Pailisto Stellarrend is pursued by guards and subjected to anti-Jinseokonian abuse.
Pailisto waits beside the food court's hot spring and prepared sushi while the crew is late returning. Security attention intensifies around him. During the confrontation he runs through the dining area, knocking over chairs and tables, while insisting that he already proved his Jinseokonian origin at the station gate.
Talonor Kaiden challenges a Vulfgarr guard and insults the size of his horns, violating a serious Vulfgarr custom. A human businessman then hurls a mustard-covered hot dog at Pailisto while using homophobic and anti-Jinseokonian slurs. Jack Kaiden leads the crew out before the conflict escalates further.
The incident exposes the survival of fear and hatred created by the Jinseokonian mass killing. It also provides cover for Pailisto's secret movement through the food court, where he takes Gavin Colm's assassination disk.
