The concealment of Yvonne Kaiden's biological death was carried out by Chlo Stellarrend and Tomas Tristar after the CKS Orpheus atmospheric accident.
¶ Reconstruction
Yvonne suffers fatal hypoxia aboard the CKS Orpheus. Chlo rescues her and brings her to Tomas's Blue Wave City laboratory. With Yvonne unconscious and dying, Tomas draws blood and performs an untested complete consciousness scan. Chlo authorizes the attempt as Yvonne's mother, but Yvonne cannot consent.
The scan reaches completion as Yvonne dies. Tomas reconstructs her mind in a synthetic body, and Chlo arranges for her to awaken without being told that her biological body died.
¶ Concealment
Chlo and Tomas cremate the original body inside an AI curing tube and do not notify authorities. Their secrecy protects prohibited AI research from the Chimera Kyria, but it also denies Yvonne knowledge essential to her identity and bodily history. She discovers the truth years later.
