Emir K. Starforge is a leader of the Jinn who forms an alliance with Skyler Novastar and the surviving Chimera Kyria. The partnership joins Skyler's campaign against Jack Kaiden to Emir's desire for revenge against John Kaiden, whom Emir blames for Hyrun's death.
¶ Alliance with Skyler Novastar
Emir meets Skyler as former enemies attempt to combine Jinn infiltration with Chimera Kyria intelligence, spies, and wormhole ambitions. Their alliance becomes personal as well as strategic, developing into a romantic and sexual relationship. Although their factions have opposed one another for centuries, both leaders accept cooperation when it offers a route to their enemies.
¶ Confrontation with John Kaiden
Emir later intercepts John and his companions during their escape from a Chimera Kyria attack. He identifies himself as the Jinn's leader and confronts John over Hyrun. John shoots Emir before the confrontation can become a prolonged speech or duel, and the scene presents Emir as killed while the group escapes aboard Dominatrix II.
