Skyler Novastar is the nonbinary adult child and Heir Apparent of Kilian Novastar. After Kilian's execution aboard the CKSS Horizon, Skyler leads surviving Chimera Kyria networks while searching for a way to retaliate against Jack Kaiden and locate John Kaiden.
¶ Search for John Kaiden
Skyler studies surviving footage from the Horizon and recognizes that the body previously identified as John contained mechanical components. They infer that biological John may still be alive and use MasterCode, infiltrators, and covert surveillance to follow the Kaiden family. A disguised agent reports when Jack and Yvonne Kaiden open John's crypt and discover the artificial body.
¶ Chimera Kyria–Jinn Alliance
Operating from Baron IV, Skyler works with the Jinn leader Emir K. Starforge. Their alliance combines Skyler's remaining imperial resources with Jinn infiltration and a shared interest in John and Jack. Skyler also uses the double agent Jorin Lunarcrest, receives Kjersten Borsach after her recovery from Baron IV, and seeks wormhole technology and Talonorium.
¶ Conflict with the Dominatrix II
Skyler negotiates with Derek Shane during the struggle over a bomb and Chimera Kyria forces. Their campaign preserves the threat of the fallen regime after Kilian's death, turning inherited power and grief into a continuing war.
