Elder Thalron is a senior authority within Fahilotian society and a member of the council that judges Andryanos.
Thalron accuses Andryanos of watching Old Jack and Talonor alter the timeline without stopping them. His proceedings reflect a punitive legal system that does not normally provide counsel to defendants and can sentence people to life in the mines.
When Andryanos presents Talonorium and asks the council to trust his vision, Thalron initially responds with anger and fear. Contact with the evidence allows him to see what Andryanos has seen. He changes course, prepares the community for the coming danger, and later publicly honors Andryanos for helping create a new period of growth and opportunity.
Thalron's reversal does not erase the severity of the original proceeding, but it shows that he can act on new evidence rather than protect his authority at any cost.
