The Borealis is a military vessel operating with the Australis during Colonel Starling's confrontation with the Dominatrix.
Kroven Vaskyr aims the Dominatrix's stern toward the Borealis and uses released antimatter as a high-speed projectile. The impact strikes the larger ship's engines and triggers a catastrophic destruction. Shockwaves, bodies, and debris then batter both the Dominatrix and Australis.
The destruction damages the Dominatrix's ghost-drive containment and contributes to later fuel and repair problems. Chimera Kyria media subsequently attributes the loss of the Borealis and its personnel to Pailisto's crew without preserving the full context of Starling's operation.
