The CKSS Horizon was a major Chimera Kyria command ship associated with Kilian Novastar and the empire's central military authority. Jack Kaiden and Pailisto Stellarrend infiltrated the vessel during the final campaign surrounding The Weapon.
¶ History
The Horizon coordinated fleet operations and embodied the inherited authorization system that controlled regulated AIs. Its command environment remained powerful even as The Weapon's signal began breaking regulator-based obedience across Chimera Kyria territory.
Jack and Pailisto boarded or infiltrated the ship as part of the operation against Kilian. Jack confronted and killed Kilian, while the larger AI liberation fractured the empire's ability to command its forces.
¶ Legacy
The fall of the Horizon contributed to the apparent collapse of central Chimera Kyria rule. It did not destroy every remnant, since Kjersten Borsach and other survivors later reorganized.
