The Spearhead Initiative was a secret experimental program attempting to create an unregulated artificial host for a corrupted Talonorium Shard. Its principal subjects were Glitch, X2, and X3. The project killed or destabilized its subjects and concealed responsibility across Resistance and Chimera Kyria-linked figures.
¶ Program
Spearhead combined artificial-person engineering, truth architecture, Code 73, Shard integration, refurbishment, and coercive recruitment. Chlo created X3 and loved him as Glowbug while failing to protect his autonomy. Pailisto directed or enabled major abuses, and John participated in the historical retrieval and shooting of X3.

- Subject One, Glitch: manipulated, killed, later refurbished as Z-1408
- Subject Two, X2: destabilized by contradictions and self-terminated
- Subject Three, X3: survived integration longer and became the apparent success

The Shard was later isolated at ARC. X3 recovered it decades after the Great Healing and used Spearhead's buried history as motive and weapon.
