Heartpiercer missiles are advanced ship-to-ship weapons launched from Jackhammer systems aboard Dominatrix II.
Their real-time sensors analyze a target's shields and generate a phase-cancellation field that allows the missiles to pass through the defensive barrier. Two Heartpiercers disable the weapons of the Quelos Phraxor vessel pursuing Derek Shane.
The missiles are later used against Domain ships during the War of Flesh and Steel. In Apotheosis, an order to fire them at the Artog settlement turns the same precision weapon into a threat against civilians, emphasizing that technical capability does not determine the legitimacy of a target.
