Talonstrike fusion cannons are heavy shipboard weapons mounted on Dominatrix II. The Mk I system fires fusion bolts with enough power to destroy the Quelos vessel encountered in Inheritance in approximately three direct shots.
Kroven Vaskyr operates the cannons from tactical. They are used in coordinated volleys against the Pioneer, in the fighting above Takawal, and against Domain warships during later battles.
Talonstrike cannons are distinct from Heartpiercer missiles: the cannons deliver direct energy fire, while Heartpiercers use guided launchers and phase-cancellation technology.
