The SSS Roc was the Resistance vessel assigned to Rift Vanguard Six. It carried the squad during the Kreylon hostage rescue and housed the robotics work that repaired and liberated U-84129.
¶ History
John Kaiden joined Rift Vanguard Six aboard the Roc as replacement combat engineer for Valen Moonspire. Tomas Tristar joined its new AI division and met Chlo in the robotics laboratory.
The ship supported the assault on a Chimera Kyria stronghold near Kreylon. After twelve controlled AIs attacked the squad, John and Macow recovered the sole surviving unit, U-84129.
Over five weeks of transit, Tomas and Chlo repaired U's chassis and surgically removed the Autonomy Regulator from her SentientCore chip.
The Roc then became the setting for U's transition to freedom: medical recovery, interviews, quarters, work, friendship, and eventual service as communications officer.
