Pailisto Stellarrend's government justified its actions through strategic need while using Flit's sacred resources for military projects including HexForge.
Flit regained sovereignty after the Dominatrix II crew defected, entered the Temple of Korathis, completed the Great Healing, and forced Pailisto to accept restoration among Jack's ten demands.
¶ Background
Fahilotian society was shaped by empathy, foresight, sacred Talonorium, and the Temple of Korathis. External powers treated the same living material as a strategic resource.
¶ Occupation
Sphere authority and Pailisto's Libertix project expanded extraction. Mining and shipment damaged communities, sacred sites, and planetary ecology. Apex facilities received stolen Talonorium, while HexForge converted it into a planet-erasure platform.
The corruption called The Rot worsened alongside extraction and misuse. Fahilotians suffered madness, phasing, disappearance, and social collapse.
¶ Resistance
Jack discovered HexForge and rejected Pailisto's claim that liberation justified coercive empire. The Dominatrix II crew freely defected from The Sphere.
Pailisto blockaded the Temple of Korathis and deployed a disruptor grid. Jack, Talonor, Moonshade, and the crew nevertheless reached the ritual site.
¶ Liberation
The Great Healing cleansed connected Talonorium and silenced its weapon use. The event neutralized HexForge and weakened the material basis of occupation.
Libertix then rejected Pailisto. Under pressure, he accepted ten demands that included Flit's restoration, AI amnesty, confession, crew immunity, and Kayla Kaiden's release.
¶ Aftermath
Flit regained sovereignty and access to its sacred resources. Restoration did not instantly reverse ecological loss, cultural trauma, or deaths caused by The Rot and occupation.
