PISCES was a proposed system capable of destroying all Talonorium structures. It offered a direct way to eliminate Talonorium weapons and corruption but would also have killed Maitdiné, whose existence depends on the living substrate.
PISCES emerged during the crisis involving The Rot, HexForge, and Pailisto's militarization of Talonorium. Its total-destruction logic treated all connected structures as one target.
Moonshade stopped PISCES from being deployed after establishing the cost to Maitdiné life. The crew instead pursued the Great Healing, which cleansed Talonorium and allowed it to refuse weapon use.
PISCES was rejected and never deployed. Its existence remains an example of a technically simple solution that would commit species-scale or ontological destruction.
PISCES is separate from VIRGO, The Weapon, HexForge, Chloinite, and the Great Healing.
